M3 light tank was a light tank United States in World War II used in conjunction with the British and Commonwealth troops shortly before the American entry in the European field. Name General Stuart or Stuart given by the British comes from Gen. JEB Stuart the American Civil War and is used for both light tanks M3 and M5, who served with the British it also had the unofficial nickname as Honey.
